Super Nanos Party

Super nano: Mmm I can smell pizza wonder where it’s coming from.
Nashua: What is that thing in the sky?.

Luka: Yeah it looks like Batman.

Super nano: Hey guys what are youse all upto.

Nashua: Nothing much me and my mates are just having a lunch break and eating pizza.

Nashua: Why do want some pizza and what have you been upto lately.

Super nano: oh nothing much I've been saving lives lately and no thanks I just finished eating salad before I got here.

Nashua: Oh no wonder why you're abby and  muscular.


Super Nano: or nah if you stop eating fast food you would look like me abby fit and also strong.
Luka: We get man mr tuff guy.

Superman: I don't see you with any abbs and muscles.

Nashua: Calm down you're even worse than Hulk.

Supernao: Since when was I talking to you? You chubby pig and really can you lose some weight oh wait a minute you can't you eat too much haha.

Keelan: Super Nano would you like some water.

Super Nano: Ten years later how come you weren't talking before and yes please water is the best!!!!!.
Keelan: Here you go.

Super Nano: Thank you so much.

Keelan: you're welcome I love that amazing song.

Super Nano: well I hate that song its really dumb like them two eggs.

keelan : Hahaha stop makeing me laugh.

Supernano: haha oh and do you want to come to my party at my place.

Keelan: Omg realy?! Are you kidding?

Supernano: Dose it look like im kidding.

Keelan: Omg! Omggg yes I realy want to come.

Supernano: okay then meet me at my place around 9:30 okay.

Keelan: okay see you there.

poly club learning story

I am good at learning new actions because nash teaches me and the boy’s that are a part of poly club new actions.

I'm good at focusing on Nash when he is teaching us actions to learn. I can self manage because in poly I see the year 8’s self managing so I want to be like them and self manage.

I got better at self self managing because the year 8’s showed me a way where  I won't get into trouble. It is hard to ignore people when they are talking to me because it makes me want to talk back to them but I will try my hardest not to talk to them.

I feel proud of myself when I notice that I've been self managing and being focused because I don't have to get a single solve it from a teacher.

My next steps are to ignore people that will try and talk to me my other next step is to stop laughing when a person is being silly because I need to step up and be a role model. I will achieve my next steps by ignoring the people or a person that will distract me or try and talk to me or give them a solve it. I will achieve my other next step by thinking in my head if I laugh to the person that is trying to make me laugh I will get into trouble for laughing.


I used the key competency of self managing and staying focused as a learning power because I wanted to stay in poly club and not get sent out for misbehaving. I needed to use the key competency of relating to others as a learning power because our performance will be really good. My friend Touteo think I'm good at self managing and ignoring because he sometimes tells me that I'm good at self managing and good at ignoring.

PE learning story

20170621_143722.jpgThe problem is how do we use the kc’s to help ourselves and others to shine in pe? It means finding out which kc’s will help me to shine. Me and Diantey with Nash set up games for the class every Wednesday or Friday.  

We play fair by following the rules, we encourage people by cheering them on. My next steps are to help others by sharing my skills and actively using kind words. I was good at self managing at sports.
 
I was listening to the ref’s calls by when I knocked the ball on I gave it to the other team and played fair. I will achieve my next steps by telling the people that don't know any skills in the games and showing them what my skill’s are and how you do them. My other next step is using kind words like thinking before I talk and take a deep breath I am going to use kind words towards the people in which games we play.

My cubism art learning story

webcam-toy-photo1.jpgLearning problem: How do we create a self portrait in the style of cubism?

I completed most of the success criteria because I used more than one colour, I know I did this because my picture is blue, light blue, brown, green red and black. I used colours that are used on aliens instead of humans. I know I achieved the success criteria of using different perspective and shapes to muddled up my art, because I used two parts of my face, the front and the side. I also used different shapes on my face, and I muddled up the face by putting the eyes in a random place. I also know that I sketched lightly because I went around lightly and was rubbing out my drawing as I needed to.

I didn’t copy my photo carefully because I wanted to be finished, but I thought that is ok because cubism isn’t all about looking like yourself. This is my next step, to meet all the success criteria by using my photo and copying it carefully.

The key comp I need to use next time is self managing like where I sit, who I sit next to. It took me a long time to finish this art.

Pasiano’s Myself as a learner: Term 1 learning story


A learning story tells other people about our learning.


Purpose: In term 1 we have been learning how to use our group norms and key competencies to be the best learners we can be, and to work together as a whanau to help each other succeed.

I take responsibility for my own learning by sharing my ideas because this means I’m taking a risk and working towards solving the problem. I  make sure I’m  not being a passenger. I also ask questions because it helps me to be in the right  track.


An example in maths is when I take  risks by sharing my ideas and my  answers with the group even when I thought my answer was wrong because I know Ms Ashlee or my Group will help me.


An example in literacy is when Jaleus wanted to read our journal but  instead I asked Jaleus if I could read it.An example of when I take responsibility of my learning in PE is when  I participate in groups and the game’s. I do this by joining in games by asking and by sharing thing’s while playing, if I have something or if I don't get it I’ll ask for help so I can understand.


I take responsibility for my group by asking questions and making sure we all know what to do. We make sure that there are no passengers and also make sure we solve the problem together.


An example in maths is when I participated by helping everyone in my group and listening so we have a understanding of the meaning of the questions. I help others when they don't understand what we are talking about in our group. I make sure that there are no passengers in  our maths groups by asking them questions. We share our ideas about how to solve the problem. We also ask questions about what we might do and how,  we make sure that we all are taking a risk and be brave. Sometime’s  my  maths is very hard, but I just take a risk.


An example in PE is when Ms Ashlee taught us a new bean bag game I didn't really understand the rules so I put my hand up and asked questions like ¨How do you score points¨ and ¨Can we throw the bean bags?

Key Competency goal:
The key competency I want to become an expert in is relating to others and thinking before I speak because I upset people and make them angry sometimes.
Using kind words controlling my mouth when I speak and controlling my hands.
Literacy goal:
In reading/writing/oral language I want to be able to write and edit my work properly because I want to improve my learning.
Make sure I edit my work properly.

My writing would have full stops in the right place and capital letters in the right place.
Numeracy goal:
In maths I want to be able to take risks and share my good ideas because I don't do that often.
Speaking clearly so that they can hear me.

Me, Myself and everyone else

Talofa bebels (people lol) O lo’u igoa  Pasiano, I'm 11 years old and I’m Samoan. I live with Mum Lige  (32 years) , Step Dad Jason (41), my brother Jae, 9 years old and sister Mysteeq, 10 years old. We also got a pet puppy named Whiskey he’s only 4 months.
I also have 5 other siblings but they don't live with me. They are Shania (17), Cordeius (9), Qwonnel (7) Poasa (4) and Mareta (2).







My hobbies

  • Sports -I love to play Rugby, Basketball, Soccer, Sockey & Flag because it's fun and keeps you fit and also you work as a team.
  • Scootering - because I love to learn new skills, it’s fun & love riding with my friends.
  • Art - I love drawing, painting & learning about different ways of art.
  • Polyclub & Kapa Haka - I love learning about my own culture and also others like Maori, Tokelau & Cook Island.
                          






My goals

My goal this year is to be focused in my maths learning because i'm not that good at it. Also to more focused on PASIANO and no one else

In the future I want to be a rugby league player and play for NZ Warriors & hopefully to represent NZ Kiwis or Toa Samoa.
          










School life with the uso’s

My friends are. ?? . WAIT! Do I have any friends ?? Hmmmmm.
Of course I do there's Diantey and Keelan. We are brothers from different mothers lol. We like to cause trouble and be funny, but the main thing we like to do together is riding and doing tricks on our scooters on our breaks.
